Friday Café is a free Dementia friendly café, for anyone who would like to socialise from any of the surrounding villages. It’s funded by donations and run by volunteers and welcome to all.
We meet in Withyham, Kings’ Hall, once a month on the 2nd Friday of the month, launched in March 2022.
The dates for 2023 are:

- 12th May
- 9th June
- 14th July
- 11th August
- 8th September
- 13th October
- 10th November
- 8th December
Tea, coffee and cake will be served throughout the morning alongside an activity and a quiz.
Most of our volunteers will have taken part in the Dementia awareness training with ‘Dementia Friends’ and will be proud to wear their ‘Dementia Friends’ badges.
We ask that all carers or family members stay with the person they are bringing if they have Dementia and are not independent. We hope that they will also join in and have some fun and meet new friends.
